Be prompt, Agni, for our protection, and for the gift of poverty-repelling (riches); and may our pious descendants be able to compass all their desires.

Now, Agni, come to succour us; let priests draw nigh to offer gifts; And let the patrons of our rites subdue all regions of the earth.
