The unopposed one conquers wealth, the friendly among kinsfolk; he makes abundant gifts to Brahman — the king, the gods came to that town.
Unopposed he is the master of the riches of hostile people, and of his own subjects; the Rājā who bestows riches upon the Brāhmaṇa seeking his protection him the gods protect.
He, unopposed, is master of the riches.of his own subjects and of hostile people. The Gods uphold that King with their protection who helps the Brahman when he seeks his favour.
