ए॒वा पि॒त्रे वि॒श्वदे॑वाय॒ वृष्णे॑ य॒ज्ञैर्वि॑धेम॒ नम॑सा ह॒विर्भिः॑ । बृह॑स्पते सुप्र॒जा वी॒रव॑न्तो व॒यं स्या॑म॒ पत॑यो रयी॒णाम्
evā pitre viśvadevāya vṛṣṇe yajñairvidhema namasā havirbhiḥ bṛhaspate suprajā vīravanto vayaṃ syāma patayo rayīṇām
Thus, to the father, to the all-god, to Vṛṣṇa, may we appoint rites and offerings with salutations. Brihaspati, be auspicious; may we be excellent, lords of possessions.
Thus may we offer worship with sacrifices, with oblations, with praise, to the paternal, universal deity, the showerer (of benefits); and may we, Bṛhaspati, become possessed of riches, and be blessed with excellent progeny and valiant descendants.
Serve we with sacrifices, gifts, and homage even thus the Steer of all the Gods, the Father. Brhaspati, may we be lords of riches, with noble progeny and store of heroes.
