Your forms quickly wander, touching and falling; the steadfast those who mourn the dried ones. O Agni, sacrifice, dispersing winged creatures; scatter the many round spheres.
Your swift and errant flames descend (on everyside); fierce-shining with vigour consume (the foe); scatter, Agni, with the ladle (of oblation), scorching flames and sparks, and brands.
Forth go in rapid flight thy whirling weapons: follow them closely, glowing in thy fury. Spread with thy tongue the winged flames, O Agni; unfettered, cast thy firebrands all around thee.
