You yoked the wheel of Surya and Indra together at once, O Mighty One; with powerful hearing you set in motion the great, prevailing host, throwing down hostile forces and scattering foes everywhere.
With you, Soma, for his ally, Indra has quickly taken off by force the wheel of the chariot of the sun, abiding above with the vast and stationary (firmament); the everywhere going wheel (of the car) of the great oppressor has been taken away.
Indu, with thee for his confederate, Indra swiftly with might pressed down the wheel of Surya. What rolled, all life's support, on heaven's high summit was separated from the great oppressor.
