You harnessed your fellowship with Soma: Indra, the waters heard of the hero, the manly oblation. In the day the seven rivers were opened, the floods uncovered the pits and the dug places.
Through that friendship, Soma, which has united you with your (friend) Indra, he has made the waters flow for man; he has slain Ahi; he has sent forth the seven rivers, and has opened the shut-up sources (of the streams).
ALLIED with thee, in this thy friendship, Soma, Indra for man made waters flow together, Slew Ahi, and sent forth the Seven Rivers, and opened as it were obstructed fountains.
