May Indra come to the sky and to the earth, from the sea or from the man; may those who are like golden beams and the Maruts beyond the mountain be with us, like a firmly established host.
May Indra, accompanied by the Maruts come quickly for our protection, from the heaven, from the earth, from the firmament, or from the waters; from the sphere of the sun, from (any) distant region, from the abode of the rains.
Hither let Indra come from earth or heaven, hither with speech from firmament or ocean; With Maruts, from the realm of light to aid us, or from a distance, from the seat of Order.
