May Indra come with the gods, with the energetic priests and the chariots’ folk; the thunderer stands, bestower of riches, may he bring the sacrifice’s spoils to our strength.
May Indra, looking down upon us, come with his steeds to our presence for our protection and enrichment; may the mighty thunderer, the possessor of wealth, (aiding us) in battle, be present at this our sacrifice.
May Indra come to us with Tawny Coursers, inclined to us, to favour and enrich us. May Maghavan, loud-voiced and wielding thunder, stand by us at this sacrifice, in combat.
