The heaven-and-earth beloved of Vamadeva, steadfast companions, wolf-like in might, offered wealth. May heedful thought follow thee; may the slayer of foes be strong for us in battle and everywhere.
Be you the protector of the pious acts of Vāmadeva; be you in battle an unfailing friend; we come to you, eminent in wisdom; may you be ever benignant to your praiser.
Further the holy thoughts of Vamadeva be thou a guileless Friend in fight for booty. We come to thee whose providence protects us: wide be thy sway for ever for thy singer.
