tvadvājī vājambharo vihāyā abhiṣṭikṛjjāyate satyaśuṣmaḥ tvadrayirdevajūto mayobhustvadāśurjūjuvām̐ agne arvā
Your voice, O Agni, resounds with strength; born of the oblation it produces truth and warmth. Your famed might, allied with gods, fights swiftly, O Agni, like swift horses.
From you, who are vigorous, to conveyer of oblations, the vast, the granter of what is desired, is born (a son) of real strength; from you comes wealth approved of by the gods, the source of happiness; from you, Agni, (is obtained) a swift unarrested horse.
From thee the hero springs who wins the booty, bringer of help, mighty, of real courage. From thee comes wealth, sent by the Gods, bliss-giving; Agni, from thee the fleet impetuous charger.
