vi ṣāhyagne gṛṇate manīṣāṃ khaṃ vepasā tuvijāta stavānaḥ viśvebhiryadvāvanaḥ śukra devaistanno rāsva sumaho bhūri manma
Agni, the singers praise you from afar; the heaven trembles with reverent thought. All the shining ones, whether thunderous or fair, the bright gods — may they grant us abundant riches, O minded one.
Agni, who are engendered repeatedly, and glorified by sacrifice, set open heaven to him who offers you adoration; resplendent (Agni), bestow upon us that ample and acceptable (wealth), which, radiant (deity), you with all the gods, have given (to other worshippers).
Agni, disclose his thought for him who singeth, the well, Strong God! while thou art praised with fervour. Vouchsafe to us that powerful hymn, O Mighty, which, Radiant One! with all the Gods thou lovest.
