उ॒तो पि॒तृभ्यां॑ प्र॒विदानु॒ घोषं॑ म॒हो म॒हद्भ्या॑मनयन्त शू॒षम् । उ॒क्षा ह॒ यत्र॒ परि॒ धान॑म॒क्तोरनु॒ स्वं धाम॑ जरि॒तुर्व॒वक्ष॑
uto pitṛbhyāṃ pravidānu ghoṣaṃ maho mahadbhyāmanayanta śūṣam ukṣā ha yatra pari dhānamaktoranu svaṃ dhāma jariturvavakṣa
They proclaimed loudly, addressing the fathers; they brought forth the mighty call and silence. Where the hiding-place is, there let the dwelling, the abode, endure, O long-lived ones.
Verily (men) bring great delight to Agni by glorifying aloud the mighty parents (heaven and earth), when the shedder of rain approximates his own radiance to the worshipper, (wherewith) to invest the night.
Yea, by tradition from the ancient sages they brought great strength from the two mighty Parents, To where the singer's Bull, the night's dispeller, after his proper law hath waxen stronger.
