O Agni, who is adorned with rites and wearing hairlike flames—perform what is fitting for the law. Then do thou, O sacrificer, make all gods steadfast and establish the world, O Jatavedas.
Harness with traces, to your car, your long-maned, ruddy (steeds, to come) to the sacrifice; bring hither, divine Jātavedas, all the gods, and make them propitious to the oblation.
Bind to the pole with cords of holy Order the long-maned ruddy steeds who sprinkle fatness. Bring hithier, O thou God, all Gods together: provide them noble worship, Jatavedas.
