An ancient friendly covenant, auspicious, you youths gave wealth among men, causing streams to flow. Again you made friendship, noble draughts and honey-gifts together, equal in fellowship.
Your ancient friendship is desirable and auspicious; your wealth, leaders (of rites), is in the family of Jahnu; renewing that auspicious friendship, may we, your associates, delight you with the sweet (Soma).
Ancient your home, auspicious is your friendship: Heroes, your wealth is with the house of Jahnu. Forming again with you auspicious friendship, let us rejoice with draughts of meath together.
