pra me vivikvām̐ avidanmanīṣāṃ dhenuṃ carantīṃ prayutāmagopām sadyaścidyā duduhe bhūri dhāserindrastadagniḥ panitāro asyāḥ
Bring forth for me the wandering cow, the wise one, the milk-yielding kine tending the herds—may they be yoked to the keeper. Straightaway may they be milked much; Indra and Agni, hands skilled, are at her service.
May the discriminating Indra apprehend my glorification (of the gods), which is (free) as a cow, grazing alone, without a cowherd, one who is readily milked, yielding abundant nourishment, and of whom Agni and Indra (and we), are the commenders.
MY thought with fine discernment hath discovered the Cow who wanders free without a herdsman, Her who hath straightway poured me food in plenty: Indra and Agni therefore are her praisers.
