nāsatyā me pitarā bandhupṛcchā sajātyamaśvinoścāru nāma yuvaṃ hi stho rayidau no rayīṇāṃ dātraṃ rakṣethe akavairadabdhā
O fathers, do not question my kin; the fair‑named Ashvins of the race have come. You, who are steady in wealth, protect for us the givers of riches, unharmed by hostile snares.
Nāsatyas, my protectors, inquirers (after the wishes) of your kinsman, beautiful is your cognate appellation of Aśvins; be to us the liberal donors of riches; do you, who are irresistible, protect the offerer (of the oblation) with unblameable (defences).]
My Sires are the Nasatyas, kind tokinsmen: the Asvins' kinship is a glorious title. For ye are they who give us store of riches: ye guard your gift uncheated by the bounteous.
