Great are you, O bull, among the herdsmen; winner of wealth with tusks, you surpass others. You alone are king of the universe and world, the conqueror in battle and decay among men.
Adorable and powerful Indra, you are great and magnificent, overcoming adversaries by your prowess; you alone are lord of all the world; do you war (upon our enemies), and give safe dwellings to men.
Great art thou, Mighty Lord, through manly vigour, O fierce One, gathering spoil, subduing others, Thyself alone the universe's Sovran: so send forth men to combat and to rest them.
