ह॒र्यन्नु॒षस॑मर्चयः॒ सूर्यं॑ ह॒र्यन्न॑रोचयः । वि॒द्वाँश्चि॑कि॒त्वान्ह॑र्यश्व वर्धस॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑ अ॒भि श्रियः॑
haryannuṣasamarcayaḥ sūryaṃ haryannarocayaḥ vidvām̐ścikitvānharyaśva vardhasa indra viśvā abhi śriyaḥ
Worship the Sun with the ritual; the thoughtful exalt the chariot‑man; the wise praise Hari’s steeds—Indra increases all riches and glory.
Desiring (the Soma), you honour the dawn; desirng the Soma, yu have lighted up the sun; knowing and discriminating (all our wishes), lord of the tawny steeds, you augment upon us all (sorts of) prosperity.
In love thou madest Usas glow, in love thou madest Surya shine. Thou, Indra, knowing, thinking, Lord of Tawny Steeds, above all glories waxest great.
