May great herds and heroic hosts, mounting the chariot, O Indra, carry thee from the seat of ritual; when twofold days gleam, may they urge on the firmly yoked bulls’ necks.
May your mighty horses, Indra, harnessed (in your car), and alike exhilaarated (by Soma), bring you our presence, for they are the destroyers (of the foes) of the showerer (of benefits), and kindly rubbed by his hand they traverse, going quickly, the regions of the sky, making them as it were twofold.
Yoked to thy chariot, led thy tall Bays, Indra, companions of thy banquet, bear thee hither, Who from of old press to heaven's farthest limits, the Bull's impetuous and well-groomed Horses.
