दश॒ क्षिपः॑ पू॒र्व्यं सी॑मजीजन॒न्सुजा॑तं मा॒तृषु॑ प्रि॒यम् । अ॒ग्निं स्तु॑हि दैववा॒तं दे॑वश्रवो॒ यो जना॑ना॒मस॑द्व॒शी
daśa kṣipaḥ pūrvyaṃ sīmajījanansujātaṃ mātṛṣu priyam agniṃ stuhi daivavātaṃ devaśravo yo janānāmasadvaśī
He hurled tenfoldly from before, born in the killing hosts, dearer than mothers. Praise Agni, the heavenly wind of the gods, who rules over peoples and vanquishes the hostile.
The ten fingers have genitive rated this ancient (Agni); praise, Devaśravas, this well-born, beloved (son) of his parents, genitive rated by Devavāta, Agni, who is the servant of men.
Him nobly born of old the fingers ten produced, him whom his Mothers counted dear. Praise Devavata's Agni, thou Devasravas, him who shall be the people's Lord.
