Agni, your Jatavedas-born fame is abundant, god of the sweet immortal name. Those who by magic and illusion search the world, you first arranged things, ancestors binding the rear.
Divine Agni, knowing all that exists and distributor of food, many are the names of you who are immortal satisffier of all men, friend of the suppliant, the gods have deposited in you whatever are the delusions of the deluding (rākṣasas).
O Agni, many are the names thou bearest, immortal, God, Divine, and Jatavedas. And many charms of charmers, All-Inspirer! have they laid in thee, Lord of true attendants!
