Invoke the godly Agni with oblation, the foremost priest; go to the gods, be our most excellent sacrificer, be present abroad.

(Priests) utter devout (praises) to this your divine Agni, that so glorified he may come to us with gods, and sit down on the sacrificial grass.

To Agni, to this God of yours I sing aloud with utmost power. May he come to us with the Gods, and sit, best Offerer, on the grass.
