grāvāṇeva tadidarthaṃ jarethe gṛdhreva vṛkṣaṃ nidhimantamaccha brahmāṇeva vidatha ukthaśāsā dūteva havyā janyā purutrā
Bring down the bounty like a herd; seize for that purpose the lofty tree like a vulture. As Brahman, as the inspired hymn, as the messenger he brought the fit oblation for the worshipful ones and for the people.
Descend, Aśvins, like falling stones, for the purpose (of destroying our foes); hasten to the presence of the wealth-possessing (worshippers), like vultures to a tree; like two Brāhmaṇas repeating hymns, (be present) at the sacrifice, and come like (royal) messengers in the land, welcomed by many people.
SING like the two press-stones for this same purpose; come like two misers to the tree of treasure; Like two laud-singing Brahmans in the assembly, like the folk's envoys called in many places.
