तं नो॑ दात मरुतो वा॒जिनं॒ रथ॑ आपा॒नं ब्रह्म॑ चि॒तय॑द्दि॒वेदि॑वे । इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्यो॑ वृ॒जने॑षु का॒रवे॑ स॒निं मे॒धामरि॑ष्टं दु॒ष्टरं॒ सहः॑
taṃ no dāta maruto vājinaṃ ratha āpānaṃ brahma citayaddivedive iṣaṃ stotṛbhyo vṛjaneṣu kārave saniṃ medhāmariṣṭaṃ duṣṭaraṃ sahaḥ
Grant us, O Marut, the giver of wealth, the chariot, the flowing waters and wise Brahman; daily make these offerings manifest. O praised ones, grant excellence in the acts of worship, bestow intellect and ward off adversity.
Bestow upon us, Maruts, that (son) who shall enjoy abundance, and who shall be repeating your appropriate praises day by day to (induce) your coming; give food to those who praise you; to him who glorifies you in battles; (grant him) liberality, intelligence, and unimpaired unsurpassable vigour.
Give us a steed, O Maruts migbty in the car; prevailing prayer that brings remembrance day by day; Food to your praisers, to your bard in deeds of might give winning wisdom, power uninjured, unsurpassed.
