May my bull not rage; may the winds diminish not my youthful strength. May he avert the hateful shadow, destroy the fiend, and preserve the vigor of Rudra’s might.
May the showerer of benefits, the lord of the Maruts, gratify me his suppliant with invogorating food; may I, free from sin, so propitiate Rudra, that I may attain to his felicity, as a man, distressed by heat, (finds relief) in the shade.
The Strong, begirt by Maruts, hath refreshed me, with most invigorating food, imploring. As he who finds a shade in fervent sunlight may I, uninjured, win the bliss of Rudra.
