उ॒त स्य दे॒वो भुव॑नस्य स॒क्षणि॒स्त्वष्टा॒ ग्नाभिः॑ स॒जोषा॑ जूजुव॒द्रथ॑म् । इळा॒ भगो॑ बृहद्दि॒वोत रोद॑सी पू॒षा पुरं॑धिर॒श्विना॒वधा॒ पती॑
uta sya devo bhuvanasya sakṣaṇistvaṣṭā gnābhiḥ sajoṣā jūjuvadratham iḷā bhago bṛhaddivota rodasī pūṣā puraṃdhiraśvināvadhā patī
Also the god sustained the world for a moment; the Tvaṣṭṛ fashioned with fires and joined in harness. Ila divinely shone at dawn; Pūṣā guided the chariot, and the Asvins attended the lord of the seat.
Or, may the divine Tvaṣṭā, the defender of the world, together with the wives (of the gods), well plural ased, urge on the chariot; or may Iḷā, the resplendent Bhaga, Heaven and Earth, the sagacious Pūṣan, and the Aśvins, the two husbands (of Sūryā), urge on the chariot.
Or may this Tvastar, God who rules the world with power, one-minded with the Goddesses speed forth our car; Ila and Bhaga the celestial, Earth and Heaven, Pusan, Purandhi, and the Asvins, ruling Lords.
