I declare to you the vigorous Marut, strong as a mountain; I speak a divine birth with reverence. As when ye, all‑heroes, sought spoil and offspring, so hear what is spoken day by day.
Desirous of felicity, Maruts, I glorify with praise and homage you divine, manifest and congregated strength; that we may thereby daily enjoy distinguished affluence, accompanied by valiant dependants and posterity.
I craving joy address with hymn and homage your heavenly host, the company of Maruts, That we may gain wealth with full store of heroes, each day more famous, and with troops of children.
