देव॑ बर्हि॒र्वर्ध॑मानं सु॒वीरं॑ स्ती॒र्णं रा॒ये सु॒भरं॒ वेद्य॒स्याम् । घृ॒तेना॒क्तं व॑सवः सीदते॒दं विश्वे॑ देवा आदित्या य॒ज्ञिया॑सः
deva barhirvardhamānaṃ suvīraṃ stīrṇaṃ rāye subharaṃ vedyasyām ghṛtenāktaṃ vasavaḥ sīdatedaṃ viśve devā ādityā yajñiyāsaḥ
Gods, praised in glory, increased, the beautiful strong one is spread out for the realm to be known. With clarified butter the Vasus are pleased; all the gods, the Aditi-born, enjoy the rite of the sacrifice.
Divine grass, let the Vasus, the VIśvedevas, the adorable Āditya, sit upon this flourishing, invigrating, well-grown, sacred grass, strewn for the sakeof wealth upon this altar, and sprinkled with butter.
O Grass divine, increasing, rich in heroes, strewn for wealth' sake, well laid upon this altar,- On this bedewed with oil sit ye, O Vasus, sit all ye Gods, ye Holy, ye Adityas.
