para ṛṇā sāvīradha matkṛtāni māhaṃ rājannanyakṛtena bhojam avyuṣṭā innu bhūyasīruṣāsa ā no jīvānvaruṇa tāsu śādhi
The debts of heroes you have paid; O king, I feast by other means. The offerings unexhausted come again; may Varuṇa grant us life in them and revive them.
Discharge, Varuṇa, the debts (contracted), by my progenitors, and those now (contracted) by me; and may I not, royal Varuṇa, be dependent (on the debts contracted) by another; many are the mornings that have, as it were, indeed not dawned; make us, Varuṇa, alive in them.
Move far from me what sins I have committed: let me not suffer, King, for guilt of others. Full many a morn remains to dawn upon us: in these, O Varuna, while we live direct us.
