O Adityas, may your majesty come upon us; that which protects from fear is radiant in you. Your friendship removes our evils; around you, O Mitra-Varuna, may misfortunes be driven away.
May I be conscious, Ādityas, of this your protection, the cause of happiness (and security) in danger; Aryaman, Mitra and Varuṇa, may I, through your guidance, escape the sins which are like pitfalls (in my path).
May I, Adityas, share m this your favour which, Aryaman, brings profit e'en in danger. Under your guidance, Varuna and Mitra, round troubles may I pass, like rugged places.
