You are Varuna among all, O king; whether gods, asuras or mortals. Grant us a hundred herds, Sharad’s increase; bestow long life and offerings, those of old.
Varuṇa, destroyer of foes, you are the sovereign over all, whether they be gods or mortals; grant to us to behold a hundred years, and that we may enjoy lives such as were enjoyed by ancient (sages).
Thou over all, O Varuna, art Sovran, be they Gods, Asura! or be they mortals. Grant unto us to see a hundred autumns ours be the blest long lives of our forefathers.
