By you we are well-protected, Brihaspati; grant us wealth and human offspring. Those hostile or hostile-minded who are far—those who rage—do not reach us.
Through you, Brahmaṇaspati, (our) benefactor, may we obtain desirable wealth from men destroy those (our) unrighteous enemies, whether nigh or far off, who prevail against us.
Through thee, kind -prosperer, O Brahmanaspati, may we obtain the wealth of Men which all desire: And all our enemies, who near or far away prevail against us, crush, and leave them destitute.
