sa ha śruta indro nāma deva ūrdhvo bhuvanmanuṣe dasmatamaḥ ava priyamarśasānasya sāhvāñchiro bharaddāsasya svadhāvān
He is heard, Indra by name, exalted among gods, high above humans—this is our dawn. He favored the beloved of the worshipful one; the headful bearer Bharaddāsa was the libation-offerer.
May the renowned and graceful Indra, who is verily divine, be present over men; may he, the vigorous conqueror of foes, cast down the precious head of the malignant Dāsa.
He verily, the God, the glorious Indra, hath raised him up for man, best Wonder-Worker. He, self-reliant, mighty and triumphant, brought low the dear head of the wicked Dasa.
