Produce, O heroic Indra, whate’er surrounds you, the ancient fearless ones of old times. They extol immortal praise, considering the assembly—those who increase by hymns.
Indra, hero, you have set free the copious (waters) which were formerly arrested by Ahi, and which you have distributed; invogorated by hymns, you have cast down headlong the slave, conceiting himself immortal.
Floods great and many, compassed by the Dragon, thou badest swell and settest free, O Hero. Strengthened by songs of praise thou rentest piecemeal the Dasa, him who deemed himself immortal.
