tvamagne rudro asuro maho divastvaṃ śardho mārutaṃ pṛkṣa īśiṣe tvaṃ vātairaruṇairyāsi śaṃgayastvaṃ pūṣā vidhataḥ pāsi nu tmanā
You, Agni and Rudra, mighty asuras of the bright sky, are the nourisher, the Marut seeker; you have desired the winged one. You are the red one with the winds, O Shankhaja; you, Pūṣā, arranged, obtain with mind, now by the bonds.
You, Agni, are Rudra, the expeller (of foes) from the expanse of heaven; you are the strength of the Maruts; you are supreme over (sacrificial) food; you, who are plural asantly domiciled (in the hall of sacrifice), go with ruddy horses, (fleet as) the wind; as Pūṣan, you cherish, of yours own will, those who offer worship.
Rudra art thou, the Asura of mighty heaven: thou art the Maruts' host, thou art the Lord of food, Thou goest with red winds: bliss hast thou in thine home. As Pusan thou thyself protectest worshippers.
