tvamagne aditirdeva dāśuṣe tvaṃ hotrā bhāratī vardhase girā tvamiḷā śatahimāsi dakṣase tvaṃ vṛtrahā vasupate sarasvatī
You, O Agni, are the prime Aditi, the god among gods; you are the priest who increases speech. You are the milker over hundreds of cows, swift in strength; you are the slayer of Vritra, the lord of riches, Sarasvatī.
You, divine Agni, are Aditi to the donor of the oblation; you are Hotā and Bhāratī, and thive by praise; you are Iḷā of a hundred winters to him who makes you gifts; you, lord of wealth, are the destroyer of Vṛtra, Sarasvatī.
Thou, God, art Aditi to him who offers gifts: thou, Hotri, Bharati, art strengthened by the song. Thou art the hundred-wintered Ila to give strength, Lord of Wealth! Vrtra-slayer and Sarasvati.
