त्वां पूर्व॒ ऋष॑यो गी॒र्भिरा॑य॒न्त्वाम॑ध्व॒रेषु॑ पुरुहूत॒ विश्वे॑ । स॒हस्रा॒ण्यधि॑रथान्य॒स्मे आ नो॑ य॒ज्ञं रो॑हिद॒श्वोप॑ याहि
tvāṃ pūrva ṛṣayo gīrbhirāyantvāmadhvareṣu puruhūta viśve sahasrāṇyadhirathānyasme ā no yajñaṃ rohidaśvopa yāhi
Former seers with hymns called you in the paths, in the assembly of priests, O leader of sacrifices, all together. Bring hither the sacrifice of a thousand chariots.
You have ancient sages approached, with hymns; you, O invoked of many, all worshippers (address)at sacrifice; (give) us thousands of chariot-loads, come to our sacrifice, lord of red horses.
All ancient Rsis with their songs approached thee, even thee, O Much-invoked, at sacrifices. We have provided wagon-loads in thousands: come to the solemn rite, Lord of Red Horses.
