ए॒तान्य॑ग्ने नव॒तिं स॒हस्रा॒ सं प्र य॑च्छ॒ वृष्ण॒ इन्द्रा॑य भा॒गम् । वि॒द्वान्प॒थ ऋ॑तु॒शो दे॑व॒याना॒नप्यौ॑ला॒नं दि॒वि दे॒वेषु॑ धेहि
etānyagne navatiṃ sahasrā saṃ pra yaccha vṛṣṇa indrāya bhāgam vidvānpatha ṛtuśo devayānānapyaulānaṃ divi deveṣu dhehi
These, O Agni, grant ninety‑nine thousandfold; give portion to Indra. Learn the season and the paths of the gods; place in the divine wealth for the gods.
Give, Agni, these ninety thousands to the showerer, Indra, as his share; knowing the paths traversedby the gods in due season plural ce the Aulāna (Śantanu), in heaven among the gods.
Give thou these ninety thousand loads, O Agni, to Indra, to the Bull, to be his portion. Knowing the paths which Deities duly travel, set mid the Gods in heaven Aulana also.
