yadāsu marto amṛtāsu nispṛksaṃ kṣoṇībhiḥ kratubhirna pṛṅkte tā ātayo na tanvaḥ śumbhata svā aśvāso na krīḷayo dandaśānāḥ
When mortals tasted the immortals and grazed with the kine of sacrifice, the breaths did not lengthen. Your vital powers did not grow; the coursers of your harness did not sport nor wag their reins.
When a mortal mixing with these immortal nymphs has conversed with them with words and actions, they (becoming) ducks do not show their bodies, like plural yful horses champing (the bit).
When, loving these Immortal Ones, the mortal hath converse with the nymphs as they allow him. Like swans they show the beauty of their bodies, like horses in their play they bite and nibble.
