सु॒दे॒वो अ॒द्य प्र॒पते॒दना॑वृत्परा॒वतं॑ पर॒मां गन्त॒वा उ॑ । अधा॒ शयी॑त॒ निरृ॑तेरु॒पस्थेऽधै॑नं॒ वृका॑ रभ॒सासो॑ अ॒द्युः
sudevo adya prapatedanāvṛtparāvataṃ paramāṃ gantavā u adhā śayīta nirṛterupasthe'dhainaṃ vṛkā rabhasāso adyuḥ
Good god today rose up, unveiled the supreme flood to reach the highest. Beneath, laid down, the wolf roared near the unprotected—today they made a din.
(Purūravā). (Your husband) who sports with you may now depart, never to return, (depart) toproceed to a distant region. Either let him sleep upon the lap of Nirṛti, or let the swift-moving wolves devour hiṃ
Thy lover shall flee forth this day for ever, to seek, without return, the farthest distance. Then let his bed be in Destruction's bosom, and there let fierce rapacious wolves devour him.
