नाभ्या॑ आसीद॒न्तरि॑क्षं शी॒र्ष्णो द्यौः सम॑वर्तत । प॒द्भ्यां भूमि॒र्दिशः॒ श्रोत्रा॒त्तथा॑ लो॒काँ अ॑कल्पयन्
nābhyā āsīdantarikṣaṃ śīrṣṇo dyauḥ samavartata padbhyāṃ bhūmirdiśaḥ śrotrāttathā lokām̐ akalpayan
From his navel was the mid‑space; from his head the heaven revolved. From his feet the earth, directions and ears were fashioned, and thus he conceived the worlds.
From his navel came the firmament, from his head the heaven was produced, the earth from his feet,the quarters of space from his ear, so they constituted the world.
Forth from his navel came mid-air the sky was fashioned from his head Earth from his feet, and from his car the regions. Thus they formed the worlds.
