Waters, united with sap, come near with your nourishing gift; O Agni-bearing, bring him to us—do not scatter your bounty away.

I have this day entered into the waters; we have mingled with their essence. Agni, abiding in thewaters approach, and fill me (thus bathed) with vigour.

The Waters I this day have sought, and to their moisture have we come: O Agni, rich in milk, come thou, and with thy splendour cover me.
