प्र त्वा॑ मुञ्चामि॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ पाशा॒द्येन॒ त्वाब॑ध्नात्सवि॒ता सु॒शेवः॑ । ऋ॒तस्य॒ योनौ॑ सुकृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒केऽरि॑ष्टां त्वा स॒ह पत्या॑ दधामि
pra tvā muñcāmi varuṇasya pāśādyena tvābadhnātsavitā suśevaḥ ṛtasya yonau sukṛtasya loke'riṣṭāṃ tvā saha patyā dadhāmi
I release you from Varuna’s noose; O Sun, bind you with the steed-like protection of Savita. As the womb of Rta and of good deed in the world, I place you with a spouse.
I set you free from the noose of Varuṇa, wherewith the adorable Savitā had bound you; in the plural ceof sacrifice in the world of good deeds I unite you, unharmed, with your husband.
Now from the noose of Varuna I free thee, wherewith Most Blessed Savitar hath bound thee. In Law's seat, to the world of virtuous action, I give thee up uninjured with thy consort.
