यद॑श्विना पृ॒च्छमा॑ना॒वया॑तं त्रिच॒क्रेण॑ वह॒तुं सू॒र्यायाः॑ । विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अनु॒ तद्वा॑मजानन्पु॒त्रः पि॒तरा॑ववृणीत पू॒षा
yadaśvinā pṛcchamānāvayātaṃ tricakreṇa vahatuṃ sūryāyāḥ viśve devā anu tadvāmajānanputraḥ pitarāvavṛṇīta pūṣā
When the Ashvins were asked they carried the path of the Sun with triple wheel. All gods followed; Pūṣan fostered the born son and the fathers chose him.
When, Aśvins, you came in your three-wheeled car soliciting the marriage of Sūrya, then all thegods, assented and Pūṣan (your) son chose (you as) his parents.
When on your three-wheeled chariot, O Asvins, ye came as wooers unto Surya's bridal, Then all the Gods agreed to your proposal Pusan as Son elected you as Fathers.
