वि॒जे॒ष॒कृदिन्द्र॑ इवानवब्र॒वो॒३॒॑ऽस्माकं॑ मन्यो अधि॒पा भ॑वे॒ह । प्रि॒यं ते॒ नाम॑ सहुरे गृणीमसि वि॒द्मा तमुत्सं॒ यत॑ आब॒भूथ॑
vijeṣakṛdindra ivānavabravo3'smākaṃ manyo adhipā bhaveha priyaṃ te nāma sahure gṛṇīmasi vidmā tamutsaṃ yata ābabhūtha
Like Indra the conqueror said: may my lord become our chief. They called your dear name; we know that which arose from him.
Manyu, the giver of victory like Indra, irreproachable, be you our protector at this (sacrifice); enduringone, we sing to you acceptable praise; we know this to be the source whence you have become (mighty).
Unyielding bringing victory like Indra, O Manyu, be thou here our Sovran Ruler. To thy dear name, O Victor, we sing praises: we know the spring from which thou art come hither.
