अ॒ग्निरि॑व मन्यो त्विषि॒तः स॑हस्व सेना॒नीर्नः॑ सहुरे हू॒त ए॑धि । ह॒त्वाय॒ शत्रू॒न्वि भ॑जस्व॒ वेद॒ ओजो॒ मिमा॑नो॒ वि मृधो॑ नुदस्व
agniriva manyo tviṣitaḥ sahasva senānīrnaḥ sahure hūta edhi hatvāya śatrūnvi bhajasva veda ojo mimāno vi mṛdho nudasva
Like Agni, Menyo shone; together the warriors called us to battle. Slay our foes; share the prowess, O hero, grant strength to our might.
Manyu, blazing like Agni, overthrow (our foes), come as our genitive ral, enduring (manyu) when invoked(by us) in battle; having slain the enemies divide (among us) the treasure; granting (us) strength, scatter (our)foes.
Flashing like fire, be thou, O conquering Manyu, invoked, O Victor, as our army's leader. Slay thou our foes, distribute their possessions: show forth thy vigour, scatter those who hate us.
