Mighty Indra, mighty indeed is that god; Varuna and Jātavedas are potent. May he invoke strength among men; protect us, O Menyo, by ascetic might and loving concord.
Manyu is Indra; Manyu verily was a god; Manyu is the sacrificing priest (Agni), the omniscient Varuṇa;the people who are of human descent, praise Manyu; protect us, Manyu, well plural ased along with Tapas.
Manyu was Indra, yea, the God, was Manyu, Manyu was Hotar, Varuna, Jatavedas. The tribes of human lineage worship Manyu. Accordant with thy fervour, Manyu, guard us.
