अ॒ग्निर्दा॒द्द्रवि॑णं वी॒रपे॑शा अ॒ग्निरृषिं॒ यः स॒हस्रा॑ स॒नोति॑ । अ॒ग्निर्दि॒वि ह॒व्यमा त॑ताना॒ग्नेर्धामा॑नि॒ विभृ॑ता पुरु॒त्रा
agnirdāddraviṇaṃ vīrapeśā agnirṛṣiṃ yaḥ sahasrā sanoti agnirdivi havyamā tatānāgnerdhāmāni vibhṛtā purutrā
Agni gave riches, the brave’s deputy; Agni gave a seer who attracts thousands. Agni placed offerings in heaven; he distributed realms and strong progeny.
Agni sending forth flames bestows wealth; Agni (gives a son to) the Ṛṣi who acquires a thousandcows; Agni spreads the oblation through heaven, the forms of Agni are manifested in many plural ces.
Agni hath granted wealth that decks the hero, and sent the sage who wins a thousand cattle. Agni hath made oblations rise to heaven: to every place are Agni's laws extended.
