Those who are elder in horses, those swift chariot-drivers, the riders—are not the waters' low-born seizers. The Angiras inspired by many-formed waters are not with chants alone.
Who (are) most excellent and swift like horses, lords of cars and munificent like the possessors ofwealth, swiftly moving like rivers with water flowing from a height, (accompanied) everywhere with hymns like themultiform Aṅgirasas.
They who are fleet to travel like the noblest steeds, long to obtain the prize like bounteous charioteers, Like waters speeding on with their precipitous floods, like omniform Angirases with Sama-hymns.
