मन्द॑मान ऋ॒तादधि॑ प्र॒जायै॒ सखि॑भि॒रिन्द्र॑ इषि॒रेभि॒रर्थ॑म् । आभि॒र्हि मा॒या उप॒ दस्यु॒मागा॒न्मिहः॒ प्र त॒म्रा अ॑वप॒त्तमां॑सि
mandamāna ṛtādadhi prajāyai sakhibhirindra iṣirebhirartham ābhirhi māyā upa dasyumāgānmihaḥ pra tamrā avapattamāṃsi
You, Indra, with friends desired wealth for progeny under the slow‑moving law. Drive away illusion from the raiders; I brought them hither, having seized the ruddy spoil.
Indra rejoicing at the sacrifice accompanied by hisswift-moving riends (the Maruts, gave) wealth to thepeople; he has come with them against the Dasyu to destroy his illusions; he has scattered the dark rain-cloudsand the gloom.
Glad, for the race that rests on holy Order, with friends who hasten to their goal, hath Indra With these his magic powers assailed the Dasyu: he cast away the gloomy mists, the darkness.
